度假也不停练:Reformer 普拉提已经开进全球酒店
The Reformer Pilates Boom Has Officially Reached Hotels
A holiday is no longer carte blanche to hit pause on healthy habits (though, if that’s your thing, have breakfast gelato for the rest of us). As wellness travel continues its evolution—from destination resorts in time-honored French spa towns to longevity-focused retreats—travelers are increasingly seeking ways to prioritize their health while away from home. Rooms are kitted with slumber-inducing mattresses and lavender-scented eye masks. Properties care for on-site farms to capitalize on hyperlocal, seasonal produce. Hotel spas have become expansive hubs of self-care, providing travelers with a full range of facials and lymphatic drainage massages, plus advanced modalities like infrared saunas, cold plunges, LED beds, oxygen chambers, and cryotherapy. On the fitness front, it’s no longer enough for a hotel to have a gym with the latest equipment and amenities like citrus-infused water, apples, and protein bars—that’s merely the baseline.
As movement trends sweep the internet, promising shredded bodies that are then torn apart by the same online denizens who championed them months earlier, Reformer Pilates remains one of the most talked-about and booked workouts of the moment, inspiring both fervent devotion and online discourse. What was once considered a niche practice has evolved into a sought-after hospitality amenity, reflecting the growing expectations among wellness-minded travelers. For Vuori-clad devotees, no amount of “hot girl walks” on the treadmill or Teasers on the mat is going to cut it.
Across the globe, hotels and resorts are building reformer Pilates studios, expanding classes, and partnering with high-profile instructors to host immersive Pilates retreats—all in service of catering to a growing class of Pilates converts who refuse to forgo their toe taps on a red spring, even while on vacation.
While there’s no shortage of reformer Pilates studios in cities like Los Angeles and New York, hotels wise to the growing demand are making themselves all the more valuable to guests by bringing the workout in-house—an ideal way to start the day before a complimentary buffet breakfast stocked with fruit and freshly pressed juices.
Earlier this year, The St. Regis Chicago transformed one of its group fitness studios at the Athletic Club into a dedicated reformer Pilates space, offering daily classes with views of the Chicago River, Navy Pier, and Lake Michigan. According to Kerri Stokes, Director of Wellness at The St. Regis Chicago, interest has been so strong that the property is looking to bring on additional instructors. True to its reputation as Manhattan’s swishest, wellness-oriented urban sanctuary, Aman New York boasts a private Pilates studio designed for bespoke sessions, equipped with two reformers, a Cadillac, a Pilates chair, and a barrel. At The Aster, a boutique hotel and members club in Hollywood, guests can begin the day with classes in the reformer Pilates studio, where old-world dark wood and ornamental columns are paired with high-tech apparatus. Molitor Hotel & Spa Paris, a dual concept hotel and sports club located near Roland Garros Stadium, opened a Pilates studio with Merrithew’s reformers in December 2025.

Derek Flint, General Manager at The Ritz-Carlton Key Biscayne, Miami tells Vogue that classes have been extremely well received by both guests and the local community, with weekend sessions reaching capacity and operating with a waitlist. Across Alligator Alley, the newly built Naples Beach Club, A Four Seasons Resort opened with a Frame Pilates reformer studio in October 2025.
The Cotswolds is all about fresh air—and apparently, if you’re a member or a guest at Soho Farmhouse, located in the Oxfordshire countryside—footwork. The chic country escape built a Wellness Barn featuring a reformer Pilates studio in 2024, and added tower Pilates classes last year. The French Riviera’s Hôtel Lily of the Valley, a member of the Leading Hotels of the World, trades the beach club buzz of nearby Saint-Tropez for glute-burning Pilates at the Shape Club’s reformer studio, followed by cryotherapy, massages, and laps in the outdoor heated pool.
Legacy Mekong, Can Tho, Autograph Collection might be on a tiny island in the Mekong Delta without cars, but it does have plenty of chances for core work. The property’s Pilates studio, complimentary for guests, has six reformers, sightlines of lush gardens and the Hau River, and professional trainers available upon request. Even on a beach holiday in the Philippines, guests staying at Amanpulo aren’t far from planks and roll-ups. The luxury resort installed a new Pilates reformer studio last year. In recent years, The Westin has made a brand-wide wellness pivot. The Westin Resort Nusa Dua, Bali is one of the outposts leading the charge. Designed for both beginners and die-hards, the 60-minute classes at the beautiful new reformer Pilates studio focus on core strength, alignment, flexibility, and balance.

Also ahead of the curve, Four Seasons Resort Tamarindo, Mexico, has prioritized intentional movement since opening in 2022, partnering with experienced trainers from Mexico City to develop its Pilates program and building a reformer Pilates studio as part of its original wellness vision.
Acro Suites features a stunning reformer Pilates studio with local stone walls, light wood machines, and views of Crete’s Mononaftis Bay. For those diehards who feel a once-daily dose of Short Spine and The Hundred isn’t enough, the luxury boutique resort hosts Pilates retreats. “Our wellness philosophy has grown alongside our guests' evolving interests. What began with yoga and meditation soon expanded to include a reformer Pilates studio, reflecting the increasing demand for mindful movement and longevity,” says Konstantina Orfanaki, creative and development director at Acro Suites. In addition to private and group Pilates sessions, we're seeing growing interest in retreats—from wellness communities to brands like Adanola, Reebok and Puma. It's an exciting space for us, and one we look forward to developing further with future Pilates retreat experiences this fall.”

While Hotel Nesslerhof, a luxury spa resort set against the backdrop of Austria’s Grossarl Valley, doesn’t have a separate Pilates studio per se, there are five on-site reformers with screens for on-demand classes. As an added in-room wellness amenity, the Happiness Concierges will gladly deliver machines to guests’ suites to practice in peace and complete privacy. The property also plans to debut its inaugural Strong & Grounded Reformer Pilates Retreat, led by Sophie Markart, in late August and another slated for October. The Balmoral, A Rocco Forte Hotel, Edinburgh, recently launched a similarly clever solution: a “Reformer to Your Room” service, in which staff deliver (and later remove) a foldable reformer directly to guests’ suites for private instructor-led workouts or solo sessions.
