Coty sales fell 2% like-for-like in the first quarter of fiscal 2027 to $1.55 billion, beating expectations and landing roughly in line with Q4.
The prestige division is seeing the most impact from the ongoing turnaround, down 1% in Q1 versus -6% in the first half of 2026; consumer beauty remains down at -3%.
Coty has extended its license to produce and distribute Marc Jacobs Beauty — one of its top six prestige brands — for 40 more years.
Total debt decreased from $3.1 billion as of June 30, 2026, to $2.8 billion on September 30.
The group expects Q2 revenue declines to remain in the low single digits, and is still withholding a full-year outlook.
