Adidas Breaks Sales Record Once Again

  • Adidas broke its sales record once again, growing revenues 7% on a constant currency basis to €7.3 billion in Q3 2026.
  • Operating profit climbed 37% to €1 billion, another quarterly high.
  • Apparel led the charge (up 19%), followed by accessories (5%); footwear was flat.
  • Japan and South Korea saw the strongest growth (up 19%), followed by Latin America (16%), “emerging markets” (15%), Greater China (13%), and North America (12%).
  • Europe was a low point, down 4% — a drag attributed to footwear discounting across regional wholesalers and a pared-back approach to distribution.
  • Thursday’s earnings call was the last for outgoing CFO Harm Ohlmeyer, who Birgit Kretschmer will succeed in the new year.
