Serena Williams 换上冰铂金发色:秋冬暖调里的一抹冷色

Serena William’s New Hair Color Matches Fall’s Chilly Energy

As we move into the cooler months, warmer, richer hair colors often make their routine entrance. These shades feel all warm and cozy like they’re making up for the biting breeze. This season, though, Serena Williams is embracing the temperature drop with an icy platinum-blonde color paired against minimal brown roots—and the switch up matches the season’s chilly energy.

Williams wore the frosty hue to the first-annual AirBnb Gala on October 28th in Los-Angeles, (if you’re wondering why AirBnb threw a black tie gala, as we were, it was for the company’s nonprofit arm) and saw attendees from Charlize Theron to host Jimmy Kimmel. She paired the new hue with smoky eye-shadow and a full-bodied red lipstick, which complemented her sparkly cheetah-print dress. While the color is brand new for pro tennis player, she stayed true to her usual styling, pulling off loose wand curls. With an Old Hollywood-style side part, her long curls neatly framed the square neckline of her dress.

Williams wore a range of warm hair tones throughout her career, and although she’s been going progressively more platinum, this frosty silver shade is a pleasant surprise. But with the busy year she's having, packed with new beginnings, the hair transformation goes hand and hand. Williams recently returned to professional competitive tennis after a nearly four-year hiatus. She also has become a lead spokesperson for the GLP-1 telehealth provider, Ro, publicly sharing her health journey and crediting the medication for her weight loss and improved cardiovascular markers. All in all, it's been a year of changes for Williams. But even at its coolest, the icy blonde feels like a grand slam.
